no ringtone is the phone, os, or carrier

I recently purchased a Samsung Focus, Windows 7, AT&T. Among its many issues (not syncing to outlook without hoop jumping, no cut and paste - what were they thinking) I cannot download free ringtones! What am I missing - My blackberry would. This has zune - is that the problem? any ideas?
