Mobile GPS costs.

Hi all.

Due for an upgrade now and i'm curious about GPS applications for phones.
Before i take the plunge though,i have a couple of questions.
1.
How much does it cost to use (subscription? If so how much does it cost).
2.
Do you get charged for internet usage?
3.
Do applications such as Nokia maps or Google maps cost to use them?
