iphone ringtones

I hear there is a way to make ringtones using current music files in itunes. Does anyone know how to do this?

i do not use itunes to make ringtones, for it only allows to make ringtones no longer than 30 seconds

i often use iphone ringtone maker to set my own songs as iphone ringtones and i even can make iphone ringtone longer than 40 seconds with the following guide
